I'd like to duplicate a series of rows that are in a Sharepoint Task list. Each row is one of about 50 different tasks that make up a template of tasks that need to be done for each project.
I can copy them from a separate list OR just replicate from within the task list – it makes no difference to me. I’d kick this off with a button probably.
I can't seem to find instructions on how best to copy a large number of rows in order to create new rows -- can someone point me in the right direction to some already existing instructions.
Maybe even clues to the right terminology might help me out with my searches.
Thanks so much!
Hi @CindyZ,
Are you using the SharePoint default Tasks list?
Do you want to copy all the items in a list to another list?
For your scenario, please try to use the SharePoint - Get items action. Once the button is clicked, items in list A will be got, then save these items in list B.
Note: When using the default Tasks list, please enter the correct list name manually in the List name field.
Please take the following screenshot for a reference.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
