Copy Office365 Calendar Events to Personal Outlook Calendar

Hi, I'm new to Power Automate.

I'm trying to create a scheduled flow that copies any "accepted" meetings that are caterogised as "Meeting" and create it in my personal calendar, whilst sanitising the information (so no protected information makes it onto my personal calendar).

I successfully created a basic flow, but quickly realised that every time the flow ran, it created another event so that I'd end up with multiples of the same event created in my personal calendar.

What I'm trying to do is:

  • Identify calender events that have only been created, accepted and categorised within the last 24 hours
  • Check to see if the event is already in my personal calendar, and if so, don't create the event

I thought that using a "condition" with an "apply to each" statement would work, but the flow just ends up in a never ending loop. I gave up on that idea, and the below is where I'm up to.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Alice, Please accept my apologies for not responding earlier.

It looks like your flow is extracting the event information, specifically the meeting subject by using the "Filter array" command, and then comparing it to an existing meeting with the same subject.  Is this correct?

Please can you explain what the below command is doing in Condition 2?

length(body('Filter_array'))

Thanks,

Craig
