I created a Flow that automatically creates a copy of a list item in another SharePoint list in a different Site. Problem is the "Create item" action does not give me any way to set the other fields of the list. The only fields it lets me set are Title and Comment field. The list has Status field and also attachments. The source and destination lists have identical list schema. Both are created from the same custom list template (with just a few simple fields). How do I copy all fields from the source list to the new item in the destination list? How can I copy the file attachment from the source list item to the destination list item?
Flow does not support the attachment column from a SharePoint list so far. About the status field, may I know its column type? If it is choice column, please know that flow supports for single values only.
The column type of the status field was Choice. I don't know if the choice field was single- or multi-valued. I deleted the source list and destination list and started over with a new custom list in the source and destination. I added columns to the source list and destination list one column at a time, each time making sure Flow could see that column ok and ultimately this worked. Do we know if Flow will support choice fields with multi-values?
As far as I know, this was not on our road map for now. I have found an idea about the multiple value lookup in Sharepoint support:
You can vote there and describe about your idea or you can also submit a new idea.
Well, I am using hibrid method, when flows finishes it's own tasks, sharepoint designer takes over and copy list item to another one with Sharepoint's native copy list item feature.. So flows it self is not ready to replace sp designer at the moment...
