Copy an item between 2 lists.

Hello,

Copy an item between 2 lists will not update nor create an item in destination list.

Do you see a reason why ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi @Antibes ,

You should choose the correct dynamic content when you create or update item.

Please make sure that there is no Apply to each outside the If yes branch of the condition, and you could refer to my screenshot below to create the flow:

Hi @Antibes

Here are the reasons why its not working:

Step 2 -Get Items - Correct

Step 2- Check if list has any item - correct

create new list item , but you are passing the "Title" , make sure that its form "When an item created" action not get items. looking at apply to each i can be sure you are pointing to "Get Items" Title instead "When an item created"

Update list item - similar use Title form "When an item created" but ID should be form "Get Items"

H DeepakS,

thanks for your response, you wrote :

yes, was aware of this common mistake, Title = When the item created

looking at apply to each i can be sure you are pointing to "Get Items" Title instead "When an item created"

no "get items" used , instead  "when an item created" used.

Update list item - similar use Title form "When an item created" but ID should be form "Get Items"

everything correct  also.

thanks, Antibes
