I need to trigger a flow when a folder is created at the root of the library. The flow will then copy a set of folders form another library. My issue is that the flow goes into an infinite loop as the trigger is constantly fired. I created my folder at the root of the library but when the folders that are copied into the new folder the flow is triggered again and again.
How can have flow only at the root of the document library?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you want to copy folders from Library2 to a folder you’ve created on Library1?
Do you want the flow to be triggered when a file/folder is created on the root of the library?
However, the trigger When a file is created (properties only) will be triggered for the whole library if you leave the Folder field blank.
In your scenario, the flow will be triggered whenever a file/folder created in the library, including the files created in the subfolders.
Hope this makes sense.
Best regards,
Mabel
I want to copy a set of folders (a template) when a new folder is created at the root of the library.
It looks like it can not be triggered at the root of library? Is it possible to put the folder path into the folder name as a unique identifier for the copy?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I have made more tests on my side and the issue could be reproduced.
I will help confirm this issue and back to you later.
Best regards,
Mabel
