Copying Append Only comments from a Parent SharePoint List to another Child List

I have two lists in private channels in two separate Teams.  The automated Flow copies the correct Row from the Parent List into the correct Child List and everything works except the comments.  I have setup the Column from Site Columns as standard in both cases.  However in the Parent it saves all the changes in the comments.  In the child only the latest the latest comment is saved.

Thoughts?

Jason

That is because Create Item just creates 1 Item. It does not create versions.

Append-only creates a new version every time. But when you read from the earlier list, it will always read the latest value.  Refer following comments that explain versioning. You may have to call SharePoint API to get history and then create all versions.

How are you copying LisItem from the Parent to Child list? Do you use Create Item on the child list?

Yes I am using the Create-Item SharePoint Action to do this.  Why it only copies the last appended comment and not all the preceding appended comments has me stumped.

Thank you very much for that.  I will look into the API.
