Copying Files between SharePoint Online in Different Tenants

I'm trying to figure out how to copy files between two different tenants (with a different account).

I tried doing a 'Get files (properties only)' then 'Apply to each' using the 'value'.  I'm stuck on which one to use to get both the file name and the file content.

And from then to do a 'Create file' on the other tenant.

Thanks for any help.

Hi!

Can you share a screenshot from your current flow design?

Thanx!

I've tried doing this in the past and the conclusion I came to was that you can't have two connectors from different tenants in the same flow.  The SharePoint connectors will default to the tenant where the environment is even if you use a different URL and account.  I don't think its possible.

Actually, it is possible to have multiple connectors in a flow.  For example, I have this to do a copy if there are new or modified files from one site to another site in a different tenant.

The flow below works but is not the copying method I need at this time.

Here is the flow and where I am having the issue.  I suspect the File Identifier is where it is wrong (or maybe my approach is wrong).

Okay, so I think I have it nearly figured out.  Below is a flow that is working on copying files however, it fails on folders so I need to have a condition to check if the source is a folder then create a folder if it does not exist.

Hi @peppagnon ,

I think you could create two Flow to do it, one is [When a file created -> Get file content -> HTTP request], the other is [When an HTTP request received -> Create File], each Flow has a different connection of SharePoint, please refer to the following screenshots:

I know you can have multiple connections in a flow.  What I've never been able to get to work is connecting to a completely different tenant within a flow.  I've used multiple connections within the tenant, but the last time I tried to cross into a different tenant it wouldn't connect to the other tenant.

Hi,

In the example I gave, they were actually connections from two different tenants so it is possible (i.e., I copied the file from one tenant and copied it to another tenant).  I'm guessing the limitation was probably in previous implementations.

Hi,

I am trying do the same flow like you. Did you finish it?

This is a really old thread.  Please post this as a new question and we will try to help.  Since this thread was posted I have been able to connect to a different tenant if I use Connection references in a solution.
