Could a flow pull context from word and populate an excel sheet?

Is it possible to build a flow that pulls data from multiple tables in multiple word documents (the documents are meeting minutes which begin as a word template) then populate that data into a separate excel sheet? This will happen in about 80 different documents per year, that can be stored in shared folders in Sharepoint. I'd prefer to have those meeting minute documents populate into 7 excel sheets (broken into tabs by program) based on criteria that could be listed in the document name (school name). The situation is that the meeting minutes have a lot of additional information but we need to collect and store only the specific recommendations coming from the committee, and we are currently doing this all manually by copy and pasting each and every recommendation.

I've just started using flows and have really only copied what other have done so I'm not certain if this is possible... (The two flows that I am using successfully are: 1. connecting our ticket system to teams to auto populate project requests when a ticket is submitted 2. Receiving an email notification with attachment when new files are added to a specific group of work folders)

Thanks for any help!

Re: Could a flow pull context from word and populate an excel sheet?

Hi @melissam,

I am afraid that it might be not possible for flow to extract specific info from the Word document then populate it into an Excel file currently.

I have seen a similar request on Flow Ideas Forum, please feel free to vote and comment it at here:

Best regards,
