Create CSV from table limiting number of rows

Hi, I have the flow as shown below. The xlsx used as the source for the CSV has about 3700 rows of data already filtered using a data connection to the .txt file declared in the condition. The flow reports as having run successfully but only produces around 260 rows of data. Top count and Skip count are set to defaults which in effect should ensure that all data is included.

Is there some limitation or trick required to get all the data into the CSV?

Thanks

Hi @AK-47

Thank you for posting.

According to your description, you would like to create CSV table based on a excel file. But while exporting, you found only around 260 rows are exported. If any misunderstanding, please kindly let me know.

Actually, your issue is caused by ‘list row present in a table’ action instead of ‘create CSV table’.

The action "List rows present in a table" of Excel (Business) connector have the 256 rows limit in Microsoft flow currently. That’s why you can only get around 260 rows from output.

To increase the limit, we can go to settings of ‘list rows present in a table’. Then, enable Pagination and set up limit manually (maximum is 100,000)

Hope the content above may help you.

Thanks. I increased it to the max value of 100000 and still it limits to 256.

Hi @AK-47

Thank you for your reply.

Could you please re-establish connection and run flow automatically? Please don't test use the previous succeeded one.

Turns out the limit is 5000 rows. It finally gave an error when attempting to save the settings but stated that 5000 was the upper limit. It's working with that value now.
