Create O365 Calendar Event - use Input to add attendee email addresses.

I am fairly new to O365 and flow, but I am trying to create some flows to make our business processes better.

We are trying to use a Shared Outlook calendar to manage our field technician's schedules.

As it sits, I have all of our customers in a Sharepoint list.  I created a flow that users can run from the SP list that creates a calendar event in the shared calendar and adds details like address, time and date, etc.

That all works fine.  The issue I am having is then adding specific attendees to the calendar event using Flow.

I tried adding an Input to the flow.  And having a multi-select list of our technician's email addresses as options.

That does work, but when it creates the calendar event, it creates seperate event's for each attendee.   I would like if it would create one event, and added multiple attendees based on how many of them are selected.

Anyone have an idea on how to achieve this, or see a better way I could be doing this?

Thank you,
Jared

Hi @jared2me,

You could improve your Flow like this, and still need to use variables to store the user's choice.

Combine the selected email address into a String variable.

Please take a try.

@jared2me:

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow?  That will make it easier to assist.

Hi @jared2me,

What do you mean by combining the values of the multi-select column and configuring them in Required attendees field?

I guess the field might be of type Person or Group, you could consider using variables to group emails of these users together.

I did the test on my side, you could configure your Flow as follows:

  1. Initialize a variable of type String.
  2. Use Apply_to_each to iterate through the field values and use Append to string variable action to store the Email in a string variable.
  3. Configure the variable in Required attendees field.

Re: Create O365 Calendar Event - use Input to add attendee email addresses.

How I currently have it set up works if I only select one of the email addresses.

If I select multiple, I would like it to add each of them as attendees
