I'm sure there is a very simple solution to this, but I am struggling to get this to work. I have a form where new responses will contain a column called Reg Number which is a unique serial number, and a Breed value selection. I want to be able to automatically update the Reg Number results in the Excel results table to look as follows "Breed Value Selection"CAN0000&RegNumber result" I created a flow that does this, however it changes all the results in the table to whatever the latest form results are. I would like it only to update the cell for the new submission whenever a new submission is received and leave the other results alone. This is what I have so far:
The last image is the results table, just for your reference.
@abm yes it is unique, in my image of the results, that demonstrates the error that was happening when the flow was updating all previous registration numbers, with the latest submission.
@ChristianAbata yes thank you, what values do I add to the conditions though to make it only update new responses? Is it condition - if Reg number = reg number than update a row?
@ChristianAbata Maybe you forgot to attach an image of the condition.
My flow appears to be working correctly now, however now i have another problem. it functions for the first new response, but as new responses come back from the form it is failing until i go to resubmit the flow... then it functions properly.
@ChrisBartels sorry I don't understhand the last part, sounds like your excel is conected to your Forms? sorry its new for me
