Create a flow that pops-up a form

Hi

I would like to create a flow that when executed it pops up a form to fill in a field.

How can I do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

E.g.  When I apply the flow to the document selected it should pop-up a form to fill the 'File Key' field:Pop up form.png

Re: Create a flow that pops-up a form

Hi @RitaAguiar ,

What’s column type of File Key Id in the list?

If it is of type number, please try to add a Number input in the trigger.

If it is of type Single line of text, please try to add a Text input in the trigger.

I have made another test, add a number column named as “File key id” in the list. Add two inputs in the trigger, Text input and Number input.

As you can see in the following screenshot, only dynamic content “Input number key” could be selected for the File key Id field.

Another workaround you can try is to convert the Text input into integer using the following code if the File key id is of type Number:

int(triggerBody()['text'])

Best regards,

Mabel

Re: Create a flow that pops-up a form

Hi @RitaAguiar I think using a custom PowerApps form will be better for this scenario.

Re: Create a flow that pops-up a form

Hi @RitaAguiar ,

As @RobElliott  suggested, please consider customize a SharePoint list form by using PowerApps. Please check more details at here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-list-form

Further, if you would like this feature to be added on Flow as well, please feel free submit your request on Flow Ideas Forum:

@v-yamao-msft  and @RobElliott

I know I can do it with an input on the 'For a selected item'. But what should I then write in the File Key Id field so that it is updated according to the user's input?

Re: Create a flow that pops-up a form

Hi @RitaAguiar ,

Thanks for updating.

It seems that you have a custom column named “File key Id” in the library, to update this column, please just select the dynamic content File key from the trigger “For a selected file”.

@v-yamao-msft

The thing is that it the dynamic content for the input File key does not appear

Do you know the expression so I can type it manually and see if it works?

File Key.png

I tried with triggerBody()['text'] but it doesn't worktriggerBody.png

it was supposed to write a.1 on the field but it didn't.
and with triggerBody()['entity'] as they are the only two properties available and it also did not worktriggerBody 2.png
