Create a flow to move MS Bookings data to a MS List

Hi there

I've just started having a play with MS Bookings and want to be able to provide a record of bookings made...and the obvious way would be to move the data to a Sharepoint List.  I'm pretty new to Power Automate and I was wondering if anyone has done this before and, if they have, could they do a screendump of the actions involved??

Sarah,

I have not used bookings but it must have standard fields. So it is case of choosing those you want to record in the list and triggering it when a new booking is made. Then you could send the details of the booking to someone's email as an extra. 

Hopefully that helps in the type of triggers and items to use in the flow.

Please look at the following, decide which fields you want to map between Booking and SharePoint.  You will have to create these in SharePoint.

Booking Information

Your flow should contain the trigger

• When a appointment is Created, then
• SharePoint - Create Item

Thanks for that @Andrew_J .  I followed your advice and have managed to populate a MS List with the set fields from the Bookings form but (and this is a separate issue altogether I think!) when you're in Power Automate, the customised fields you can add in a Bookings form don't appear in the list of Dynamic content.

You have to add the fields you want to use from the list in the booking information into the list manually.  Depending on what you want to pull across this could task many hours to add to the list. I would not suggest you add new columns for everything in booking but you may want to.  

And a tip do not use spaces in the list fields so First Name should be entered in as First_Name

Apologies if you've already received a response from me.  I thought I'd sent one but can't find it!  Anyway....as for customised fields, I work in a college, and we need additional fields such as course, tutor, etc so really need to find a way to pull this data into a List. 

Also, out of interest, why do you recommend that List field names have no spaces??!

As i said above I am not a booking user, but I understand that you need to do.  Can I suggest that you read the following

The above seem to state that you can add the custom filed you need. 

As for the space issue in the field names that is way to long to explain and i sure some searches on the net would give the information you need on that.
