Create and Update Calendar Events triggered from a SharePoint list

I am building flow to create a Yammer post whenever a new event is created in my SharePoint calendar. My calendar events have attachments. I can't seem to get the attachment's field to display. I'd appreciate the help.

Re: Create and Update Calendar Events triggered from a SharePoint list

The Yammer connector, including the Post message action does not have support for files or attachments. If this is functionality you would like to see added to Flow, please consider submitting it to the Flow Ideas page, where it can be voted on by other users, and tracked and commented on by the Flow team. There is an existing idea, Post on Yammer with image attachments that you may want to upvote.

Re: Create and Update Calendar Events triggered from a SharePoint list

Hi @Hend ,

As Brad mentioned, MS Flow currently does not support adding attachments directly to the message. Please vote for similar idea.

In addition, the attachment is already stored in SharePoint. You could consider directly posting the link of the attachment. Other users can directly access the file by clicking the uri of the file.

  • Initialize String variable to store the names of all attachments and Uri.
  • Iterate through all the attachments and append the attachment name and Uri to the variable.
  • Finally, populate the variable in Post message.

Hope it helps.
