Create folder - bad gateway

Dear PA community,

I am trying to create a simple folder in SharePoint but am receiving the following error:

EDIT: It does create the folder--just throws an error

Is this a Microsoft cloud error or something I'm doing wrong?

{
  "error": {
    "code": 502,
    "source": "unitedstates-002.azure-apim.net",
    "clientRequestId": "94700334-2a01-4045-839a-7846e1554447",
    "message": "BadGateway",
    "innerError": {
      "status": 500,
      "message": "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.\r\nclientRequestId: 94700334-2a01-4045-839a-7846e1554447\r\nserviceRequestId: 94700334-2a01-4045-839a-7846e1554447"
    }
  }
}

Can you please remove all %20 tags and encoding and keep it simple and test? So If you would like to create a folder called test, your path should be something like

1.1 Approval Testing/Test
