Create (only one) calendar entry from a sharepoint list

Hello everyone,

 

I have a SPO List with a "Employees" field (with is a person field with multiple selections). When someone creates or modifies an element in the list, a Flow creates a Calendar event (outlook connector, create an event V2). This works fine so far.

But: I would like to have the employees selected in the SPO person list field as required attendees in the event. When I use the field "required attendees" and click on "dynamic content -> when an item is... -> eyployees Email"

then Flow builds automaticaly a foreach container around my "create an event V2". That means, that for every person in the employees field a new calender entry is made. I have no Idea how to change that or how to build the flow otherwise. Have some of you?

You could use variables to store all person's emails and then configure the variables in the "attendees" field.

  1. First Initialize a variable of type String.
  2. Use Apply_to_each to traverse the information of the person contained in the column, add the email to the string variable, and end with a semicolon.
  3. Finally, the variables are configured in the "attendees" field.
