Create or Modified List Item creates Bucket - If Modified Duplicates Bucket

I have a List that when an entry is made, it give it a particular ID # and then creates a Bucket in a specified Plan with that same ID#.

The List item will be updated with notes or a task in the future so the flow is a "created or modified".

When the list is updated though it creates a whole new Bucket in the same Plan with the same ID#, how do I stop this from happening?

Next step is that the List has up to 5 Tasks that can be filled out and any time that I would then need to update the Bucket with those Tasks and assigned personnel. But one thing at a time.

Do you mean [when an item is created or modified] can be divided into create, modify?

[When an item created or modified] There are two properties, created, modified.

Add [Condition]

If the values of these two properties are the same, the item is newly created.

Add Create a bucket.

If the two values are different, the item is modified.

Add [Create a task] to the bucket.

That does not work as it always reports it as "false".

Tried 3 times and always reports "false"

If I Create a new list item - reports as False - 1. Updates Item (Unique ID) 2. Sends email stating new listing (only to be sent during creation of new item) 3. Creates Bucket with Unique ID from above

If I Modify that same item - reports as False - 1. Item already updated from prior so not sure if it tries to update it 2. Sends another creation email (should not be sent when modified) 3. Creates a new bucket in the same Plan with the same Unique ID.

Also, the user has the capability of creating and assigning a Task at creation and then later if they want to they can alter that Task or submit a new one, the MSFT List allows up to 5 Tasks to be created. They may not create them right away, may meet first to agree on Tasks and then fill them in.
