Create planner tasks from excel without creating duplicates

I'm having trouble to create tasks in Planner from an Excel sheet that gets updated with new rows on a recurring basis without duplicating the current tasks that exists.

Whenever a "new row" gets added to an excel table I want that row to be added as a task in Planner if it does not exist.

The problem is that the tasks gets duplicated every time the flow runs.

I have tried using a filter but this does not seam to work???

Re: Create planner tasks from excel without creating duplicates

Hi @Lehan

Not sure if you are showing all the Flow but, from what you have there I think you will only have it filtered for the last row, as you are not saving the filter result, so for every loop, you will lose the previous filter result.

My suggestion would be to perform most of the actions inside the "for each", so if you move the condition and the task create inside the loop this should work.

+ For each row (Apply to each)

          - Filter task list with the ID

          - Filter returns 0

          - Create task

Please let me know if my suggestion works for you.
