Creating CSV file from Sharepoint - position of fields

hi

I am building a flow to take data from a sharepoint file and create a CSV file on my onedrive.  I have this working but it is creating the CSV file with all the fields from the sharepoint file.  Ideally I would like to extract out my own data fields only. Is it possible to only extract certain fields from the sharepoint file ?

All fields will be Ok if they were always in the same position in the CSV file. But depending on if I enter data into certain fields in Sharepoint, the position of the field in the CSV file can change.

How do I ensure that when the flow generates the CSV file, all the fields are always in the same position in the output file?

thanks for your help

Michael

Hi!

"I am building a flow to take data from a sharepoint file and create a CSV file on my onedrive. I have this working but it is creating the CSV file with all the fields from the sharepoint file."

I believe you are using action block 'Create CSV table' right?

If so, you can switch 'Column' from its default value 'Automatic' into 'Custom'. THis way you can select which columns you wanna add, and also perform manipulations if needed

Good example here

Hope this helps
