Creating a Quick Launch Link

Hello,

I have a workflow that is not acting as expected.
Based on what others have used, my workflow stops when trying to create a Quick Launch link to a secure folder.
The system creates the folder but when It gets to the HTTP Request to create the link in the quick launch it times out after six retries.
I included the error at the end.
Any suggestions?

Below is the workflow.

Hi @golfnutt82

your code looks fine, but you have two slashes within your URL, that is occurring the error:

I rebuild your flow and when I add two // at the same position in my URL, my flow is facing the same error. With only one slash it works fine.

Does this help you? Otherwise please give me some more information.

Best regards
Marvin

Hi Marvin,
No, the double forward slash is expected.
The issue was the folder creation HTTP request processes and then the quick launch link starts before the folder is created so I added a one min time delay after the folder creation action.

After further review of this I have determined that you are correct.
The user copies the URL from a site and pastes this in a form.
My workflow grabs that URL string and uses it to create the quick launch link.
It works as you said when a single forward slash is present.
Thanks for educating me.
