Creating and Updating an Item if it already exists

Hello everyone,

I have a Flow that creates an Item whenever a Form has been submitted, this Item starts with "Pending" and depending on the Outcome can change Status, which is fine.

The next Step I am trying to accomplish is with another Flow to first when this Record is created to create the same Item in a different List which is determined by the Column "Department".

The Creation of that Item with the Status "Pending" is no Problem, but if the first Item changes Status to "Approved" or "Rejected" I want the Item in the dedicated Department List to also be updated with "Approved" or "Rejected".

As Department dictates in which List the Item has to be recreated I am using the Switch Function to choose the List.

Also since the "Status" determines if an Item has to be created or updated I am using another Switch Function to check.

The Item recreation works without a Problem but updating the recreated Item only works in some Lists but fails in others and I don't know why or how to fix it.

Hello @efialttes

Sorry for the late Reply but I was still playing around with the Flow and now it works as intended.
