Creating email activity but can't set the from email address to be from a queue

Hi,

I have a flow that sends an email from a shared mail box then I'm trying to create an email activity against the account record but it's ignoring what I put in the "from" box. I've tried adding the shared mailbox email address (which has a queue in Dynamics) and even just the name of the shared mailbox but it keeps changing it to a different one. Do I need to reference the queue id?

Hi @Deb3107,

 

The connector I mention is the new "CDS (current environment)". 

But to use this connector you need to create the flow inside a solution.

Hello @Deb3107,

 

The existing Dynamics / CDS connector does not support "activity party" attributes and that's the reason for your flow not to work properly as the email "From" field is a lookup to an "activity party".

 

There is a new connector that currently can be used if you create a flow inside a Solution that is "Common Data Service (current environment)" where it is possible to add an "activity party" field, maybe it can be an option to make your flow to work.

Hi Ademar, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm already using the CDS and set to "Current Environment". Can you maybe share an example of what it should look like please? Debra
