Hello All,

I have a document library i need to refresh daily as I'm using the today function.

What is the best approach for this action?

Thank you for your time.

Got it. Check this thread and see if it is helpful... You will have to update the column with formula everyday... That should do a trick...

Can you please provide some more details? By Refresh, do you mean integrate documents from some other place on daily basis?

hi @PrasadAthalye,

Thanks for the response.

I have a date calculation which looks at a review date against today.

I need to refresh to get the correct number of days between the two dates.

Looking for the most efficient approach to achieve that refresh.

Thank you

Okay. Can you clarify what do you mean refresh?

@PrasadAthalye  - I need the date field to recalculate as it using Today() function.

Unless the list is refreshed, the date calculation will stay the same.

Thank you

You can create a new column to store todays date and write a validation logic on that. Then Prepopulate it with the date you are creating a column.

Then write a schedule flow that loops through every document property and updates this column to todays date.

Can you clarify where are you using this column? Sounds like a reporting requirement...

@PrasadAthalye  -The today function is used as part of a calculated column, where i am comparing a review date against today to see the difference between the two.

i do not need to insert today, i just need it to refresh the document list so the calculation works.

Its static unless there is a refresh or change to the item.

Thank you
