Date Format

I am trying to create a flow that uses a manual date entry and then composes it to be used as a date in a Planner Task and I keep getting this error:

{"error":{"code":"","message":"The request is invalid:\r\nCannot convert the literal '@formatdatetime(triggerBody()['text_1'],'yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ssZ')' to the expected type 'Edm.DateTimeOffset'.","innerError":{"request-id":"9aab1f0a-6299-4b05-b48e-bb4043a5e167","date":"2017-07-26T16:51:54"}}}

text_1 is the manual entry.  What am I missing?  I also need to take this a date further and use adddays but I am unsure if that would go in the Planner Task field or if it would have to be another Compose action.  I have 5 different tasks that have different due dates that are all dependent on the one date I would enter in the manual button.

Re: Date Format

Hi @ChrstnMchl,

Would you please share the detailed configuration of this flow? Some screenshots would be great.

Regards,

Mona

Re: Date Format

Sure thing @v-monli-msft!  The first is the error I am getting.  The second is my current set-up for what I am trying to do.  I have tried several different ways (dynamic content, actually typing [text_1], etc) to get the date in the from the manual entry and get the same error.  I'm sure I am missing something key here.  Please clue me in.

Re: Date Format

I wasn't using quotes because I was getting an error using them.  The powerusers link you provided in the other thread about adddays clued me into the missing piece (the error is expected and ends up being part of the process to get the right code).

I'm betting I can just key in the code without the dynamic content and quotation error now.  If you want to reply with that same reply from the other thread I'll accept it as a solution.

Also, FWIW, this seems very convoluted just to get a due date for planner.  Hopefully there is a more streamlined workflow coming soon.
