Delay Until : Convert UST to EST

Hi,

I am using Delay Until control to convert for page approval scheduling using date field.

I tried using convertfromUTC function convertFromUtc('ReleaseDate','Eastern Standard Time','YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM: SSZ'), but its giving me error that the input string is not in the correct format.

'ReleaseDate' field is marked as Date and Time, and has value for date and time.

Will appreciate any help regarding it.

Thanks

Hi @ashish118312,

Thanks for providing the detailed info.

The default format for the Delay Until is (yyyy-MM-ddTHH:MMZ), please try to change the format of the timestamp in code like this:

convertFromUtc('ReleaseDate','Eastern Standard Time', yyyy-MM-ddTHH:MMZ ').

I have made a test with the following code which is working fine:

convertFromUtc(triggerBody()?['ReleasedDate'],'Eastern Standard Time','yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mmZ'

A screenshot of the flow for your reference:

Please feel free post back if you need more help.

Thanks for the response.

I implemented your suggestions, but stil getting the below error.

"InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Delay_until' inputs at line '1' and column '2013': 'The template language function 'convertFromUtc' expects its first parameter to be a string that contains the time. The provided value is of type 'Null'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions#ConvertFromUtc for usage details.'."

Formula configured with Delay Until control was:

convertFromUtc(triggerBody()?['Article_x0020_Release_x0020_Date'],'Eastern Standard Time','yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mmZ')

Kindly let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @ashish118312,

Thanks for testing and feedback.

Please make sure you did enter a value in the column “Article Release Date”.

The error message says that the provided value is of type Null.

Please try again with it with a value in this field.

Best regards,

Mabel
