Desktop Flow Web Browser Missing Files

Hi

I have a desktop flow that uses Chrome to log into a website, completes a series of clicks & fields to generate a report and then clicks a hyperlink to download the report. When I test the flow through the Desktop Application all works perfectly and the file is downloaded. When I schedule the flow to run over night the process completes, I know this because it posts in a Teams Chat, but the file is nowhere to be seen. I have also logged into the Website and can see the report history, which shows a report every day

Initially I had the file saving to a Sharepoint location synced to File Explorer, then I removed that sections to see if it would appear in the Download folder of the user account (which is didn’t) and then I changed the download location through Chrome to C:\DownloadFiles. When I changed it to the C:\DownloadFiles location it downloaded one file but no other files have appeared since

I had used a "Click on Website" but thinking that maybe the issue I changed it to a "Move Mouse" "Send Click". Both scenario's work but no file can be found.

Under Services the Power Automate Service is running under the user account not the NT one from the initial installation.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

It is probably a problem within your Unattended machine settings. There is really only 1 reason for this and that is that your screen resolution within your Machine who runs unattended, is not the same as when you run it in attended.

Here are some links that can help you out. Basically you have to set up your unattended Machine screen resolutions to the same as the attended Machine.

To set up screen resolution in your Machine:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/how-to/set-screen-resolution-unattend...

Some information about differences within Attended and Unattended: https://forum.uipath.com/t/automation-works-in-attended-mode-but-not-in-unattended-mode/307373

Thank you for the quick reply.  I have taken this under advisement and been testing different scenarios over the last few days, including dropping the screen resolution 1280 x 900 with scale 100%.  None of which has worked

The original job was schedule to run at 23:30 so I decided to schedule a day run at 11:30.  The day run works perfectly and a file appears.  The night run still fails to produce a file

Since the success of the 11:30 run I have been moving back the time to see if there was an issue and I am currently sat at 22:00 and the night flow still refuses to produce a file
