Do Until loop is not working as expected

We have developed a flow for approval process(Sequential), We are facing issues with Power Automate-

  1. Do until : Flow is not waiting for the approval task response, it is completing the flow though we have used “Start and wait for an approval” action inside “Do until” loop.
  2. There is a limit of 30 days maximum a flow instance can run, so is there any solution to this because there are chances that the approval can stay idle for more than 30 days? Please suggest if any.

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Best regards,

Refer Long Running Flow solution from @RezaDorrani .

What is the timeout on do until? Is the action timing out? If you are using Start and Wait for an approval, it should wait unless action times out.

You will have to capture timeout by using run after actions and restart the flow again. Design it in such a way that you bring the flow back to same state where it timed out.
