Downloading external site files and upload to sharepoint site

Hi All,

I have a SharePoint list with a column which is a multiple line of text and it contains some external file URL. Which included pdf, doc..etc...

Such as:

http://externalsite.com/a.pdf

http://externalsite.com/b.docx

And I would like to download the files and upload them to SharePoint and replace the SharePoint item with the new created SharePoint files link.

How can I do it? Many thanks.
