Hi,
I'm trying to work out on a scenario needs to let the user ( a head of department user ) to decide the next approver
I'm working on a SharePoint library list, when a file is submitted the creator user needs to take some approvals from multiple head of departments
I add "Approvals" fields in the list accepting multiple users and then user can run a Flow on a particular item
once the first approver ( let's say Sales Manager ) received the approval request he need to take another approval from another approver ( like the Finance Manager ) some times need to take approval from ( Technical Manager ), So, the approvers are not fixed.
I'm thinking to user PowerApps to show the user a screen to put the next approver email until the approver click on Approve or Reject so the flow will end ! ... but I'm not sure this is the best practice.
I need a help for the best practice to apply this scenario please !
Thanks

Hi again!
but I need to let the user to take an action like "Approve & need more approvals"
There is an option to customize Approval buttons and add mor than two called 'Custom responses'. Please note it is Premium

I believe you need to implement the Approval procedure via Outlook -I mean Teams not valid- right? If so, implementing your own Adaptive Card will provide you a higher degree of customization

Hope this helps

Hi @ElMeSaFeR,
Currently adding custom text input fields is not supported within the approvals connector. If you think this should be added as a feature, you can create a post here or upvote already existing ones with a similar use case.

As a workaround, the Comments field is the only way could approach, you could refer to the link provided by @efialttes to create some custom responses of Approval, if outcome met "Approve & need more approvals", create a new approval and put the Email in the comments into the *Assigned to field.

Hi!
Once Approver clicks on 'Accept' 'REject', did you consider using 'Comments' field to dynamically add the next approver email?
PowerApps can be a valid workaround, also design your own Adaptive Card
Hope this helps
