Dynamic content not available

Hi,

I'm trying add a variable which I inistalized earlier in my flow, but I'm getting "NO DYNAMIC CONTENT AVAILABLE":

But if I select the "Name" field above I have all dynamics content available.  Why is this?

Thanks,

Stewart

I can't explain why it filters it out.  But you should still be able to add it using the Variables() function on the expressions tab.

Dynamic Content filters on a number of things including datatype.  The Name field is a String while I suspect the Total Amount is a number (assuming probably a float not an integer). To use a string as a number you would need to cast the field using the Float() expression.  That's why it doesn't show in dynamic content.  To add it to the field start on the expressions tab and add Float().  Then with the cursor inside the parantheses go back to the dynmaic content tab.  You should now see the field you want to add.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.  I thought this too, but as you can see below (sorry for the terrible highlighting!) I have a float variable initialized right before my Do Until.

Why don't I get this field?  Or any of the fields from my trigger, which is on creation of an Agreement record in MS Dynamics?

I just tried to replicate your scenario and for me the float variable does show up in dynamic content inside the loop.  So I'm not sure what is going on in your case.

Hi @stranter ,

I am afraid that I also cannot reproduce similar problems here.

In addition to using the expression- variables('variableName') to reference variable values, please also consider using Compose to transition variable values, like:

Hi,

In the end the requirement to create a Work Order and Work Order service was removed, so I only needed to create a Work Order.  I still had to use the variables() function to access some variables, but I got it working.
