Dynamically get SP file location and add to SP List

I am creating a List Item, everytime a new file is uploaded to a certain SP Folder and that is working as expected. Now I would like to take it a step farther and add a column for the file location (hyperlink), I am having issues trying to figure this out.

Basically when the list new is creating, I am grabbing the title but I want to grab the file url location as well and use it in my list so that users can view the list and click on the file location to open the document.

Re: Dynamically get SP file location and add to SP List

Hi @sevenrice which trigger are you using?

If you're using "When a file is created in a folder", the triggerBody() will only give you information about the physical file, not the metadata associated with it. Whilst it will give you some identifying information, it's not quite as much as if you used the trigger "When a file is created (properties only)".

From that trigger, you can use the "Link to Item" dynamic content to put a full URL to the file in the other list.

Re: Dynamically get SP file location and add to SP List

Hi @sevenrice ,

Do you want to add a link of a file in the SharePoint list when the file is created in a library?

I suppose that there is a Hyperlink column in the list, please check if the flow configuration will work for you.
