I am using Flow to dynamically create tasks in Planner. At runtime, I have the data that tells me the Planner plan and bucket names, but not IDs for them. Is there a way to tell Flow at runtime to evaluate the names that I get from the dynamic data so it recognizes which plan and bucket to use? Is there an expression I can wrap around the dynamic data or other syntax?
In short, I want to dynamically set which plan and bucket to put each task in, but I only have names of the plans and buckets.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi @lshake,
How do you get the dynamic data which tells you the Planner plan and bucket names?
Actually, the “Create a task” action recognizes which plan and bucket to use by a series of string, such as, ‘1qwR_xxxxxmLpNxxxxx-2ckAE6w7’ represents Plan Id and ‘xxxxxJ8AmE2WA2V8ess5N8xxxxxx’ represents Bucket Id, the “UI” just translate the string into a user-friendly name within “Create a task” action:
I afraid that there is no way to evaluate names for recognizing which plan and bucket to use within “Create a task” action in Microsoft Flow currently.
Best regards,
Kris

Thank you for the information. I will add the ID strings to my database and pass them with the other data.
