Dynamics 365 email template not work in Flow

I created a flow in which I create an email record in dynamics 365, this uses a mail template (which is in Dynamics) I assign the ID of the template and the sender and recipient who are users of the platform.

The result is that I create the email log in Dynamics, but without the template, without the sender and the recipient.


What can be happening, because I have given all the parameters to the action?

Could you share more details on the flow configuration?

 

Do you start the flow from a template? If so, which template are you using?

 

I am not familiar with your Flow language setting, if possible, could you change it to English for better understanding?

 

I guess that you are using Dynamics 365 action Create record to create record in entity Email Messages. You’ve inputted value for the From and To Recipients fields though, the record created in the entity without value in From and To fields. If so, the issue could be reproduced by me.

Do you have an answer for this? I'm also having this problem.

I have entered values for the sender and recipient but they are being set to null when the email message record is created.

 

Please advise?

Hi Emma,

 

I am also trying to send an dynamics email through Flow, so far i am able to create email message entity but there are two  issues with it

1. The description is coming as one line and losses all the formatting

2. From and To is null

 

Were you able to resolve this issue, please advice

In the end one of our developers built a web hook to update the values in the email message record, attach the doc and send from Dynamics.
