E-Mail Reminder if date of sharepoint item is overdue

I have a SharePoint list that looks like this:

Task 1 // Tim // Due date //

in this case, I would like to send an E-Mail Reminder to Tim (Active Directory E-Mail) if the "Due Date" has exceeded the "Today" date. Is something like this possible with flow? Where should I start?

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to send an email to user when the due date has expired?

How do you want your flow to be triggered?

To test this issue, I have created a flow which is triggered by a button.

Add the action Get items from the list. Use filter query to filter items that the EndDate have exceeded Today. The filter query is configured likes below:

EndDate le ‘utcnow(‘yyyy-MM-dd’)’

Note: Please surround the utcnow function with a single quote.

Then send an email, in the To field, select the dynamic content Approver from the list.

Screenshot likes below for your reference.

More details about the Odata filter query function, please check it at here:

Hi Mabel

Thanks for the response.

Exactly I want to send an email when the due date has expired and the trigger should be automatic i.e.

if due date > Today --> send email
