Email arrival , new excel record in One Drive



I am trying to build a flow whenever email recieved with Excel Attachment, take the records of the excel and add it as new records on excel in OneDrive.


please advise

I am afraid that it might be not possible to achieve your scenario.


When an email arrives with an attachment, we can save the attachment on OneDrive, but it seems that there is no way to get the records of the Excel and add the records in another Excel on OneDrive.

We had same requirement sometime ago, which we could resolve as in following flow :


Flow 1: - When a new email with attachments arrive, save in One Drive folder

Flow 2 : - When a file is created in One Drive folder (the same folder as in Flow 1), Excel Get Rows -> passing the File Id
from the trigger.

Remember, you need to have a dummy file with the metadata in this folder first to be able to design your table mapping for the Excel insert row.  Once you have done the mapping, you can remove the reference to the dummy file and point to the File Id in the source file for Get rows.
