Hello,
If I send an email to a SharePoint list and the email includes images in the email body (rather than attachments), then these are not displayed in the list item column, instead a white box is displayed.
This is even when set to "Enhanced rich text (Rich text with pictures, tables, and hyperlinks)".
If this is a known issue, then this is fine. Is it possible for the embedded images to be extracted from the email body and saved to attachments in the list item instead? Or would it make more sense to convert the HTML email to PDF and then save it as an attachment to the list item?
Any thoughts?
It depends from where the email is coming from and where the images are pointing to? Can you find out the source of those image from the source where its sent? Chances are that they might be pointing to a location which isnt accessible from SharePoint online...
Converting to PDF and storing them is definitely a best choice.
@PrasadAthalye it was an image (screenshot) copied from the clipboard and pasted into the email.
Hi, did you find any solution to this issue?
Thanks.
