Employee Termination Flow

I need to build a flow for when an employee is terminated that sets the ball rolling and makes sure multiple departments check off tasks.  Ideally it works like this:

 

  • The manager informs HR of an employees departure
  • HR begins flow:
    • Department director, supervising manager, HR, and IT are all informed.
    • HR completes its related tasks (final payroll, cobra, etc.).
    • IT removes permission and credentials for software, databases, building entrances.
    • IT forwards phone calls and emails to the destination of the manager's choosing.
    • The manager submits any needed paperwork, such as a termination letter.
  • Everyone is notified when each team has completed it's work
  • Each team is sent reminds if their portion has not been completed.

My first thought would be creating a flow using Outlook and Planner, but I'm not sure how to automate or standa

You could consider creating a Planner task and then periodically checking the completion of the task.

One Flow is used to create a Planner task, and another Flow is used to check the completion of a specified task.

 

The first Flow is used to create a task in the specified scenario and assign it to the specified user.

The second Flow uses Recurrence as the trigger, which periodically checks the completion of the task. If it is not completed, it can remind the relevant user. If it is already done, send a notification to everyone.

My first thought was to automate or standardize a template for planner, and how to create new ones automatically.
