Error copying checklist from Planner into newly created Task

The logic is straightforward in that I use the "Get Task Details" action to get the details for my template task (I filter the tasks from Get Tasks and know it's working properly) and then attempt to set the Checklist array as the checklist in my newly created task using Update Task Details.

bbpa_0-1614104372833.png

bbpa_1-1614104409147.png

The error I receive is "The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Update_task_details' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: The API operation 'UpdateTaskDetails_V2' is missing required property 'body/checklist/0/title'."

The action seems to be looking for a title property in the wrong place.

Has anybody been able to copy checklists in Planner successfully?

Here is the Checklist object

The error message led me to rebuilding the JSON in a format that the update action would play nice with.

This is driven from a MS Form submission which is where the Title comes from in "Create a task 2" also the References Resource in "Update Task Details"

One thing to note is I'm not sure how to keep the checklist in the proper order... even if the source template is created in a certain order the orderHint value doesn't seem to reference it

Hello, @bbpa

This is exacly the problem I am facing right now. I understand you shared your solution but I cannot reproduce it because a few steps are missing from the screenshots you've shared (which I am not sure they are relevant anyway) and I cannot see the full schema from the parce JSON.

Would you share those with us, please?

Thanks!

I updated my screenshots with the extra steps (some are important) and here's the JSON schema... I got it by examining the data from the Checklist object

Hello @bbpa ,

While I'm using 'Update Task Details' I'm getting the following error:

The request is invalid:
An unexpected 'StartObject' node was found for property named 'lastModifiedBy' when reading from the JSON reader. A 'PrimitiveValue' node was expected.

Here is the raw input:

{
     "body": {
        "description": "2.12.1.3.2",
        "checklist": {
            "28451": {
                "@odata.type": "#microsoft.graph.plannerChecklistItem",
                "isChecked": false,
                "title": "Test",
                "orderHint": "8585863207722652781PM",
                "lastModifiedDateTime": "2021-03-09T10:36:13.2279249Z",
                "lastModifiedBy": {
                    "user": {
                        "displayName": null,
                        "id": "3d8364eb-8e45-474a-8758-2c6d2bb0033f"
                    }
                }
            }
        }
    }
}

My Flow was built straight forward, with no customs fields other than 'Dynamic Contents' so I can't understand why I'm receiving this error. Could you bring me some light? Thank you in advance.

It looks like maybe you're trying to pass in a value for the lastModifiedBy field? Perhaps leaving that out of your action would help

Hello @bbpa, thanks for your response.

I share my flow below. Actually, I'm not trying to pass any value to this field.

lnoman_1-1618422994521.png

If I try to put on checklist the following, it returns the error: The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each_2' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@body('Get_task_details_from_Template_Task')?['checklist']' is of type 'Object'. The result must be a valid array.

Any sugestions? Thank you.
