Excel Online (Business) - What is Key Value?

I'm trying to update a row on a schedule using the "Excel Online (Business) - Update a Row" action but I can't figure out what the Key Value is referring to.

Where can I find the Key Value? There is no explaination on what exactly this is. The Microsoft documentation just states that it's a string and to "Enter the Key Value". There is no dynamic content available.

Hi @VCousins,

The Key value is the Key Column's value, if you want to update a row on the excel table, you should enter the Key Column and Key value for identify the special row.

So you must know the Key Column's value of the row you want to update.

As is similar with link below:

After a few experiments this is what I found:

- Key Column: It can be whatever column you want in a table that can serve as a reference to indicate what is the row that will be modified. Make sure that it has unique values, because an error will be generated if duplicate values in this column are generated.

- Key Value: It is whatever unique value you want in the Key Column to indicate what is the row that you want to update.

Example: If you have a table with two columns: Column1 and Column2 and Column1 has numbers from 1 to 5 and you want to update the row that contains a value of 2 in Column1, then "Column1" is your Key Column and the value "2" (without the quotes) becomes your Key Value.

I hope this helps!

I understand this much. The problem I'm running into is being able to use a cell value (in that special row) in a condition branch. Like if this cell = 3 then do this. I can't get the dynamic content to populate in the next step- all I see are the column names again. How can I do this. I know it must be possible. Any help appreciated
