Export Dynamics accounts to SQL

Hi, I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

We have a dynamics database, and we want to publish a subset of the Accounts to a website.  We created an SQL database that contains the dataset we want to publish.

We have added a custom yes/no field in dynamics that determines whether a record should be published/exported.

I would like to automate the process whereby the data in the SQL database is updated appropriately in the following circumstances:

  1. A new Dynamics account with publishable status set to "yes" is created, a new record is created in SQL
  2. An existing account's publishable status is changed to "yes", a new record is created in SQL
  3. An existing account's publishable status is changed to "no", the corresponding SQL record is deleted
  4. An existing account's publishable status set to "yes" is edited, the corresponding SQL record is updated

Alternatively, I'd be quite happy to simply drop and recreate the SQL table, and then populate it at set times. Either way, any pointer would be very welcome 🙂

TIA

Hi @AngeloA ,

Sorry for your requirement couldn't be achieved since the function to trigger a flow for a single column is updated is not supported in microsoft flow currently.

Best regards,

Hi @AngeloA ,

Yes, it could be done with microsoft flow, you could create a flow with trigger "Manually trigger a flow" or "recurrence", the screenshot of the flow should as below:

Re: Export Dynamics accounts to SQL

Hi @v-alzhan-msft,

Thank you for your reply. How about pushing all records that fit a certain condition to an SQL table either at the push of a button, or at a certain time? could that be done?

TIA
