Export a SharePoint list as an Excel file and place in a SharePoint folder monthly

Hi all, any insight would be awesome on this reporting I am trying to achieve using Flow.

I want a monthly report run on a SharePoint list. I want the list to be exported at the end of the month as an Excel/CSV but ONLY contain the items created for that month. For example, at the end of January, I want the list to be exported but only contain January created items. When February rolls around, only contain items created in February and so on. Hopefully that makes sense.

The list contains submissions from an InfoPath form.

Is this possible with Flow? Let me know if I can clarify anything

Re: Export a SharePoint list as an Excel file and place in a SharePoint folder monthly

Hi @Anonymous,

I am afraid currently this is not avaialble through Microsoft Flow.

There is a similar idea submitted on this, see:

Recurrent export of SharePoint lists to Excel

A workaround here is to use SharePoint list Get items action, then use the Create CSV table, you may tak a look at the template below:

Copy SharePoint list items into a CSV each week

More information, please see the following blog:

Build flows with HTML Tables, CSVs and otehr new features like OCR and image content detection

Michael

Thank you for your reply!

Can I change the output destination to a SharePoint library instead of One Drive? How would I make it monthly? I would like to not use days since months differ in days.
