Exporting forms input to an excel to be sent over email

Hello everyone,

i have the following issue: i have a form that all company users can access. The form is filled out and sent to their manager for approval, if approved it is then send to another department (lets call it department A). If rejected, the submitter is notified about it and the flow ends. I have all of this configured and working fine, but i need to add one more step. Department A requires the answers from the from in an excel sheet. How would i go about doing that?
In short i would like every form submission to form a new excel file - the name of which would be generated based on some form inputs.
Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi @bsadmin

Perhaps it would be easier to create the response in a PDF file and send it to Department A for approval.

I set up a simple flow, you can refer to the following screenshots to see if it helps.

This is my test Form.

Flow in details:

If you don’t want to keep the created html file, you can delete it at the end use Delete file action.

Save and test.

When a new form is submitted

A new approval will be sent with a pdf file.

Hope the content above may help you.

Best Regards

thanks for the reply but the client wants specifically for the format to be an excel sheet.
