Expression error when checking for EMPTY float field

Hi, I'm struggling with a particular expression.

I have a currency field in a SharePoint list which can have content but it's not mandatory.

I need to format the field so that it appears as a currency...and that works if the field has content.

So first I need to check if it's EMPTY before formatting the thing...but it keeps throwing an error:

Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Send_an_email_(V2)' inputs at line '1' and column '20071': 'The template language function 'empty' expects its parameter to be an object, an array or a string. The provided value is of type 'Float'.

My expression is:

if(empty(items('Apply_to_each_-_DN')?['Point_AFC']),'N/A',format Number(items('Apply_to_each_-_DN')?['Point_AFC'],'£0,000'))

I've tried every combination I can think of but no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi @psadd2 have you tried using the Condition action instead of trying out an expression.

Hope it helps, please like it or mark it as a solution if it resolves your clarification or issue

Hi...thanks for the reply but the expression is within the body of an email I'm sending so I have no opportunity to run a Condition. Not that I can see anyway.
