Extract Table Data from Outlook 365 Email

Hi Friends,

I would like to extract the contents of the Email that contains a HTML table, remove empty lines  & email signature.

and post the extracted data into Teams.

The Body of the email does contain some dynamic text above or below in the email & also an email signature, for example

"Hello team,

This is the sample text above the message

Column A

Column B

Column C

Column D

Column E

Some text A

Some text B

Some text C

Some text D

Some text E

This is the sample text below the message

Please follow the instruction is the Column E and contact the customer.

Email Signature (can be 5-6 lines)"

Re: Extract Table Data from Outlook 365 Email

Hi @Franklin ,

If the message above and below the HTML table is always consistent, you may refer to the following method to configure Flow.

Use the Split() function to separate the email body and use the sample text above the message and the sample text below the message as the split point.

Expression reference:

split(split(triggerBody()?['body'],'This is the sample text above the message')[1],'This is the sample text below the message')[0]

Hope it helps.

Re: Extract Table Data from Outlook 365 Email

Spoiler

Thank you very much Barry. My issue is with the Table. I'm unable to get the content out of that table in a structured format.

If I could extract the data from the table in the following format eg: I can try and work with it

Body description above (Dynamic content)

Column A: Row A details

Column B: Row B (I want to button with a hyperlink for the id number)

Column C: Row C details

Column 😧 Row D details

Column E: Row E details

Body description below (Dynamic content)
