Hi there,
I have an O365 connector that I use with a webservice from Cherwell to post ticket information into a Channel. This works really well apart from the fact you cannot use an @mention with the MessageCard Type.
Below is the basics of a message in Teams, the << >> around the name is what I have crafted from Cherwell to try and use as a substring check

Customer: | Matt Karan |
Description: | Ticket Information is displayed here |
Technician: | <<Steven Lees-Smith>> |
What I would LOVE to be able to do is pull out the name in the Technician field and then use that name as a mention in the channel.
Is this possible using a flow that starts with the When a Message Arrives In a Channel flow and then pull out the string and then write it back as a mention?
Thanks for any assistance.

Hi @stevenls
I believe that you might have to use the person email address to mention. Here is a post that shows how: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Can-you-Mention-anyone-in-Teams-from-a-flow/td-p/...
Hope this Helps!
