Filter Excel file based on Email address from Compose

Hello - I am a new userto Power Automate and could use some assistance.

In my flow i have an e-mail address that I would like to use to filter an Excel file based on value from Compose

When I try to using Filter Query "string(outputs('Compose'))" I get the following message:

Here is my flow:

Not sure if this is best practice so any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Thank you
Tony

Your filter query expression is wrong. Filter query is based on following expression.

Column internal name eq 'value'.

Suppose your column name is Email then

Email eq 'value'

Thanks

Hi Hardesh - thank you for the response.  Still struggling with the correct syntax to use on Filter Query.

Here is the syntax that I used:

Thanks again,

You missed single quotes. Please see my query i wrapped value inside single quote which is very important. Put single quote around compose output.

I am not sue caps EQ will work or not. Try with small eq.

Thanks

Hardesh

Here is the error I am now receiving using lowercase 'eq'

Why you use dynamic content in left side of eq. I told you in previous post it should be internal columnn name. If you are struggling with this. Please use one condition action and which you are doing in query  use in condition action. User email equal to compose output.

Thanks

Hardesh

Thank you Hardesh.
