Filtering with matching record owners

Hi all,

I'm seeking some help with a flow that I'm really lost on.

The goal
The invoice record has a lookup field to a custom entity that we would like flow to populate.  There is an existing relationship to the custom entity (X) as the invoice appears on a grid on this entity when the lookup field on the invoice is populated.  I'm trying to have this lookup field populated when the invoice is created.

The lookup field should only be populated for a set invoice type (eg registration), by a (X) record that has an active status reason, and the same owner as the invoice.

 

 


Work so far  (It is vague - apologies)
Start flow when invoice record is created, THEN

List the (Invoice) records, THEN 

Condition step to filter the invoice type  (example - registration)

[Invoice Type equals value of Registration], THEN

List the (X) records,

Get the (X) records, THEN

Condition step to filter (X) for Active Status Reason,

Condition (InvoiceOwnerId equals 'X'OwnerId), THEN

 

Update Invoice record 

 



I keep timing out on the underlined part.  There are only 4 records to filter through, and they have been located.  I'm just having an issue matching the Invoice OwnerId with the Custom record owner id

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Why are you couldn't match the Invoice OwnerId with the Custom record owner id in the Condition step in your flow?

Hi Alice,

Thanks for your reply.  The screen shots attached are to show the flow I"m working with.  An additional issue that I came across is that I put it aside for a few days, and when I came back it had remained on caused a loop so that there were several hundred workflows running.  We managed to do some code to cancel the flows, but I'm also wanting to know if there is a 'Stop Workflow' function as there is for workflows in dynamics 365.
