Flow Create unique items in a List

have the following scenario with Sharepoint online:

1. we have a list in which you can create news entries. In this list you can assign one or more persons or groups with a people picker field.

2. Now in a 2nd list an entry should be created and assigned to the persons which were selected. So if several persons or a group was selected in the first list, it has do create unique items for each person

Is this possible with Flow and if so what are the steps?

Re: Flow Create unique items in a List

Hi @wellisi,

I have made a test on my side and have created two lists as below:

Capture.PNG

The AssignTo column is a Person or Group column allow multiple seletions.

Capture.PNG

The SingleAssignTo column is a Person or Group column don't allow multiple seletions.

Then I have created a flow as below:

Capture.PNG

The expression of SingleAssignTo Claims as below:

concat('i:0#.f|membership|',items('Apply_to_each')?['Email'])

When an item is created in the List A as below:

Capture.PNG

The flow would run successfully as below:

Capture.PNG

The items would be created in the List B as below:

Hi @wellisi

From your post at the Tech Community site, it looks like you have something going already. If you do, can you please post screenshots of what you have built so we can take a look and maybe re-create it on our end?

Thank you,

Re: Flow Create unique items in a List

Hi v-yuazh-msft

I tested your flow and it works perfect! Thanks for that!

So now what did you think about assign it to groups? Is it possible to get out the members of the group and create a unique item in the List B?

Re: Flow Create unique items in a List

So i think i have the solution, combined with this Manual:

https://blog.portiva.nl/2018/06/05/microsoft-flow-perform-actions-on-users-in-a-sharepoint-group-usi...

It seems to work.

But it only works with Sharepoint Groups. Is there any solution for Office 365 Security Groups?
