Hi @Elancheran,

Do you want to send notification based on expire date?

Actually, a flow's expiration depends on the license you owned.

When you are using a free/trial plan (a plan that is not included within your Microsoft 365 plan), the expiration limit is set to 60 days.

When you are using a Power Automate license within your Microsoft 365 plan, the expiration limit is set to 90 days

When you are using a standalone Power Automate plan (e.g. Per flow plan), your flow will not be turned off.

When your flow is about to expire, the flow owner(s) will receive an email message, stating the flow is about to expire and it will be turned off in 7 days.

We could not get the expiration directly, however we could turn on the flow when the owners receive the email notification.

Write the following expression for the environment id and flow id:

first(
    split(
        last(
            split(
                triggerOutputs()?['body/body'],
                'https://flow.microsoft.com/manage/environments/'
            )
        ),
        '/'
    )
)
first(
    split(
        last(
            split(
                replace(
                    triggerOutputs()?['body/body'],
                        '/shared',
                        ''
                    ),
                '/flows/'
            )
        ),
    '/'
    )
)

Thanks for your information. We have created date filed in share point column.We are planning to use that created field to send an mail notification to approvers after request creation of 20 days.

Is there any way to send remainder mail to approvers based on created date filed request in share point?

Hi @Elancheran,

Hope you could understand that changing the data set suddenly is a disaster for us workers.

If you want to send a reminder email based on the created date field, please check the following flow:

vqiaqimsft_0-1637815510058.png

Write the following expression just behind the "is equal to" dropdown:

formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(), -20), 'MM/dd/yyyy')

Thanks for your help. We received the created field in below format from share point list.

"Created":"2020-11-04T09:36:47Z"

 If we create the request in today, we need to send remainder mail after 20 days of request created date.We received the created date above format.

Hi @Elancheran,

What's your real need?

Does the previous reply solve your problem?

If you want to send remainder mail after 20 days of request created date, there is no need to compare with a date time format, a date only value would be enough.

Hope it makes sense.

Best Regards,
Qi

No Its not resolved.We received the created date field in below format from share point list.

"Created":"2020-11-04T09:36:47Z"

 how we can change the above format date to "MM/DD/YYYY".

If we create the request in today, we need to send remainder mail after 20 days of request created date.So,we can compare the created date to future date(after 20 days).

Hi @Elancheran,

Have you checked my solution?

I have write the following expression to compare the created date with the future date:

vqiaqimsft_0-1637918327795.png

This recurrence flow will run everyday to check if today is the date when you should send a reminder email.

If the future day subbed 20 days is the date when you created, it will send out a reminder email.

Best Regards,
Qi

Hi,

We are receiving the created date column in below format.So,its not checking the condition.We need to change below format to "MM/DD/YYYY' then only we are able to check that condition.
