Flow / Sharepoint Online Automation

Hello Flow Community,

A total Flow newbie here. Is it possible to do the following with Sharepoint lists and Flow?, if so, can anyone help and advise me on how to configure this?

List A has a few columns of data, one of which is a drop down item.
The choices in the drop down menu are either "In Progress", "Pending", "Approved" or "Rejected".

1. When the item in List A has a selection of "In Progress" it remains in List A with no update to other lists.
2. When the item in List A has a selection of "Pending", the item with chosen data appears in a secondary list called List B and also remains in List A.
3. If the item in List A is updated again to "Approved" the item with chosen data appears in a third list called List C but is removed from List B. The item will also remain in List A.
4. If the item in List A has a selection of "Rejected" it appears in a fourth list called List D and is then removed from List A.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Re: Flow / Sharepoint Online Automation

Hi @AlyneRankin

Yes this is doable. You can create a switch case in flow to check the values of the status and perform actions accordingly.

A few things to note here: You say that the status can be approved from pending. So in this particular flow, what you can do is, select the trigger on List A only and whenever the item is updated you can keep creating the new item in the particular case branch. And then you can add an action to get items from the other list to check if it was set to pending. and then create further steps to delete it from the pending list.

Ensure that the column allows single select only in the SP list.

Hope this Helps!
